An optional Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 10th at 3PM at the award-winning Baytowne Course. Baytowne is a Tom Jackson's creation located at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Baytowne Golf Club originally opened for play in 1984, but underwent extensive renovations in 2005. The rolling fairways feature old-growth pines, are generous at times, tight when you least expect it. All lead to large, undulating greens rated as moderate, but often faster than you might expect. Water is a huge component of Baytowne Golf Club and is in play on 12 of the 18 holes. Bunkers also play a big part in JacksonÕs design; the entire layout is liberally scattered with them.
